Introduction
This guide explains how to view and download your invoices in ServerTrack. Invoices are generated monthly based on your subscription plan and can be accessed at any time from your billing dashboard.
Accessing the Billing Section
To view your invoices:
- Log in to your ServerTrack account
- Go to your dashboard
- Navigate to Billing or Invoices in the navigation menu
- You'll see a list of all your invoices
Viewing Invoices
The billing page shows:
- Invoice List: All invoices with invoice number, date, amount, and status
- Invoice Status: Paid, Pending, Overdue, or Cancelled
- Billing Period: The period covered by each invoice
- Payment Date: When the invoice was paid (if applicable)
Viewing Invoice Details
- Click on an invoice number or "View" button
- The invoice detail page shows:
- Invoice number and date
- Billing period (start and end dates)
- Plan name and details
- Amount and payment status
- Payment method (if paid)
- Transaction ID (if applicable)
Downloading Invoices
To download an invoice as PDF:
- Open the invoice you want to download
- Click the "Download PDF" button
- The PDF will download to your computer
- Save it for your records
Downloaded invoices include all invoice details and are suitable for accounting and record-keeping purposes.
Understanding Invoice Information
Each invoice contains:
- Invoice Number: Unique identifier for the invoice
- Invoice Date: Date the invoice was generated
- Due Date: Payment deadline
- Billing Period: Start and end dates of the billing cycle
- Plan Name: Your subscription plan
- Amount: Total amount due
- Status: Current payment status
- Payment Method: How the invoice was paid (if applicable)
- Transaction ID: Payment transaction reference (if applicable)
Payment History
The billing page also shows your payment history:
- Paid Invoices: All successfully paid invoices
- Pending Invoices: Invoices awaiting payment
- Upcoming Bills: Next invoice due
You can filter or sort invoices by status, date, or amount for easier management.
Saving Invoices for Records
It's recommended to:
- Download and save all invoices for your records
- Keep invoices organized by year or month
- Store them in a secure location
- Use them for accounting and tax purposes
Troubleshooting
Invoice Not Found
If you can't find an invoice:
- Check that you're logged into the correct account
- Verify the billing period you're looking for
- Contact support if the invoice should exist but doesn't
Download Issues
If PDF download doesn't work:
- Check your browser's download settings
- Try a different browser
- Ensure pop-up blockers aren't preventing the download
- Contact support if issues persist
